About the Artist

Artist Name

The shaping of my artistic path began in the warmth of my childhood home, surrounded by the vivid crayon colors of my youth and the imaginative tales told by my family. Under the guidance of my sisters, I took my first steps into the world of art, creating storybook illustrations that brought our shared stories to life. These early experiences, rooted in fun and family, laid the foundation for my lifelong artistic journey.

As I grew, so did my exposure to new techniques and mediums. The opportunity to learn pallet knife oil painting from Mrs. Mary DeFranco was a pivotal moment in my mid-teens, marking the beginning of a deeper exploration into the art world. My academic journey further expanded my repertoire, introducing me to the Old Masters Technique of Glazing and a fascination with color and form that has influenced my work ever since.

Beyond the canvas, my art found expression in a myriad of forms, from airbrushing and charcoal pencils to the delicate hues of watercolor pencils. Portraiture, particularly of iconic figures like Shirley Temple and Elizabeth Taylor, became a significant aspect of my work, alongside personal projects that brought fairy tales and imagined worlds to vibrant life.

My artistic journey has been one of continual learning and exploration, from outdoor painting sessions to experimenting with diverse materials. Art, for me, is not just a profession but a way of seeing the world, a means to capture and share the beauty that surrounds us. As I continue on this path, I am reminded of the joy that art has brought into my life and the lives of those around me.

This journey is far from over. With each brushstroke, I delve deeper into the essence of my artistic voice, eager to see where the colors will lead me next.
